It's okay, I don't mind. However, all I can really do is give you the link to the tutorial that taught me how to vector.

Here it is - http://www.heathrowe.com/tuts/vector.asp - the techniques in there are everything I have ever used to make my vectors. As you can see, I use the pen tool in photoshop, and people tell me illustrator is a lot easier, but I don't have it, so I use photoshop.
